Bad news

Apollo's ALT (liver) level is back up. Last week it was 169. This week it is 636.

The plan is to put him back on antibiotics and see if it goes back down. He'll be going on Clavamox and Metronidozole. I started him on Milk Thistle last night. If the antibiotics don't work, we'll do an ultrasound.

I can't believe this is happening again.

I called the specialist at the U of MN, and am waiting on a call back. Thing still point to Lepto, despite two negative test results. The treatment is initially Clavamox, followed up by a month's worth of Doxycycline. We did the Clavamox... then once he went off of it, he started getting worse again. Maybe we should've done the Doxy, too?

It's just so frustrating.

Has his gall bladder been checked? Sky high liver #s was what finally got mine diagnosed properly.

A quick google search...
