Hello everyone, I am sending this plea out and BEGGING someone to help him. This big baby was just trying to help an old man plant his garden and he didn't appreciate it. He is the most LOOOOOOOOVING dog I have ever seen. He can't get close enough to you. He doesn't jump on you but does think he is a lap dog. Unfortunately he is heartworm positive. We named him Digger and he probably weighs at least 100 pounds. He has to be out of the shelter by Thurs., April, 15. Please someone help this baby. He is precious. A "friend" (ok well she is damned lucky I deleted her ass from facebook long ago) dropped her dane mix at the shelter here. First they were trying to find her a home, the person putting the adds up said it was because of the baby and not having enough time for her. Then I saw her one day and she tells me its because baby is allergic, umm the person who babysits him has 2 huskies and a lab mix, allergies my ass. The problem is that the only thing they ever did was house train her, she has no leash manners, no house manners, no people manners, no dog manners. OMG York County AC is one of the worst in the world (that I have personally seen). They euthanize in 5 days, period. Stray, surrendered, doesn't matter. Eons ago I used to live nearby and it was awful

Argh!!! I've been out of the loop, and just now seeing this!!! Just called York and they're closed of course, called the other numbers they gave me and keep getting bumped to closed messages. Emailed tracy, but that's the work email, and I don't know her other one. Anyone know an update on this guy?
