Small Pug Mix

This little guy was picked up last week by AC and not claimed. He's probably 2-3 years old and a pug mixed with something small - he's maybe 12-14 lbs. Sweet as can be and loves to give kisses. I picked him up today and am taking him for his shots and then to his foster home tomorrow morning. He'll be neutered in May. My 5 year old named him Sheldon.

Some puggles look more pug, others look more Beagle... it's like the Meagles when the MCOA was trying to locate the gene for PRA to be able to develop a DNA test for it (they succeeded). Some of the Meagles looked more mastiff and were rather large, others looked more beagle and were small.

Here's some examples:

You know, Amanda, he'd make an almost perfect companion for Mya.

Would you mind convincing my parents? They already complain that Mya is like having five dogs in the house.

With that mug, he could get away with as much as she does and I can't afford to lose any more socks.

I think he is from a pug/beagle mix being bred back to a pug.

In that last pic... he looks like a gremlin (the movie critter, not the car! )

Hmmmm we have a new member, Rachael, that mentioned she's looking for her first "her own" dog. I bet this little guy would be perfect for a student with roommates!

Hey Rachael!

Sheldon has an approved adopter! Cross paws that the meet and greet with the resident pug goes well!
