Three Beautiful Berner's needing homes.

It's a good thing I am not close to any of these rescues...I'd snatch them all! They are just gorgeous!

Oh that last one - She's just lovely! The 2 seniors were as well, but this one is only 13 months.

If you contact the Breed Rescue nearest to each of them, they would most likely pull and foster them.

Hmm... I wonder if Scooby was a BYB breeder... possibly left in a kennel all the time. It says he doesn't do well with livestock or small animals, and isn't housetrained. Might be hard to place him.

Just wanted to share a little info about Scooby. He was posted on a Berner facebook group and someone called in about him.

Scooby Doo is 3 years old. He is already neutered. He is particular about which dogs he chooses to get along with. He was an outdoor dog. He was owned by a family with children. He was surrendered as a result of an incident where he and the two other bernies in the house did attack a donkey and injure it. He was the primary aggressor. He weighs in at 118.

Knowing this area as I do, I have to think that these were all ranch dogs, owned by someone that has that "RANCH" mentality. All three of them were surrendered. Breaks my heart to think that these people didn't understand Berners enough to spend the time with them that they deserved.
