There is a gorgeous 2 year old american pitbull that needs a home in the sacramento area. Anyone know anyone by chance? His owner can't keep him anymore and they are talking about taking him to the pound. He is very sweet, at least he always has been each time I've seen him, and they say hes just a big love bug. He is also said to do well with other dogs but I have never seen him personally around one myself. This link is of a dog that looks almost just like him. He is a big boy too.

Shelters and pitbulls are generally not a good mix. Hopefully someone here knows a reputable pitbull rescue to suggest to you that might offer to help rehome him. What has the owner done so far to find him a new home?

Not a clue. I know they are looking b/c it got around to me about it thru my son.
