How horrible!!! If you can't build a fence then take the dog outside on a leash
Dogs all over this country live comfortably with out fenced in yards

An $1000? I understand that it may keep some more unscruptulous people away, but the reality is that she's going to have a hard time finding someone decent who wants to pay that much for an adult dog that is probably upwards of 200lbs that has "issues."

My dogs could seriously live without a fenced in yard. They don't need a ton of exercise...

I personally feel any dog can live without a fence if given the proper walks and a little bit of free time in an enclosed area (if no good recall) For almost the 1st year of Ace's life we didn't have a fence. He grew up just fine. When we got a house with a fence he spent most his time in the front unfenced yard LOL!
1000.00 is ridiculous. Most ppl are more concerned about the money than the best home for a dog

Dude. Let me just say... I LIVE IN A FRIGGIN' APARTMENT. That's right - I have NO YARD AT ALL, much less a FENCE. And guess what? Karma gets plenty of exercise and lives a completely fulfilled and happy life with me.

Good thing I took down my "Didn't stab anyone today" award, because now I am going to go stab a uchebag.

Even though it says "wonderful house dog" and "housebroken," I'm thinking that means they're used to leaving the dog outside all day in their yard and don't want the responsibility of actually taking care of him.

Poor dog, hopefully he finds a home with decent people.

What else is new???

The house we have now came fenced, but our old one didn't so we fenced it. Before it was fenced we took Kahuna out on lead. You get some wood and invite your friends to help. We started early so I made everyone a big breakfast. It was that easy. They clearly don't want the dog. Period.

My new place does not have a fenced front yard and as of right now the back yard is not fully enclosed and I plan on taking dogs out on the leash for a potty until our fence building/house warming party on the 4th of july. I never planned on getting rid of them so people like that make me sick.

We have a fenced backyard but it's a low fence that Marrok can clear easily. All that means is we make sure to be out there with the dogs at all times and keep an eye out for anything that might trigger Marrok to try to hop the fence. He's only done it once but once was quite enough. It's no big deal though. You want a dog, you manage whatever it takes to keep your dog happy and healthy. This sounds more like folks that just don't want the dog anymore but they sure as hell want some major money for it don't they. Nasty, nasty people!
