******URGENT*****URGENT******BEAUTIFUL BRINDLE GREAT DANE*

Spayed female, 2-3yrs old. Coming out of an abusive home and needs rehab. She is extremely scared and her tail is tucked 24/7. She is in boarding @ a Vets office and deteriorating fast. Rescue, foster or permanent home needed.

Spayed, heartworm negative and her stomach has been tacked down to prevent bloating. She is dog friendly and may be fine with cats.

Located in Alexandria, Louisina but can be transported to Calif, Texas....etc.

A little more info- " She is very sweet, approachable and you can pet her but they had to leash her first or else she just wants to hide, she's very scared and her tail is tucked as far back when you are petting her. She was hit (don't know with what or how often). He said no weird behaviors. Vet tech and my friend said boarding her is making things 100x worse."

Really?? I'm 2 hours east of Toronto. The pup is in Louisiana though.

IF I was to get her here, she could come as far as NY or NH on the regular transport I use to get dogs back East. I would just worry about the trauma/stress it might be for her with her fears.....
(Did you watch 'Last Chance Highway' on Animal Planet last Sat. nite? This show is about that. Watch 2cd episode tonight!)

Also....there is a regular transport that goes from southeast MO to MN or Chicago and other places fairly frequently....there would be a gap from you to them, but I am sure we could find a way to cover that.

California is hard- no regular transports that way.....

Ya, that is a worry being her state and condition...I wouldn't want to make things worse with a long transport. I know a rescue in Ottawa who could possibly help that I can ask though. They do a lot of transport back and forth from the states. But if there is someone closer, obviously that would be ideal.

Oh, and no haven't seen that show. Our Animal Planet plays different shows than what you guys get. It's really annoying!!
