I'm posting this article here - please note that it is difficult to view so sensitive members please skip the link... it's in Spanish but I will summarize the gist of it: http://www.diariosur.es/v/20100627/m...-20100627.html
This young dog, estimated to be about a year old, was doused in gasoline, set on fire, and tied to the shelter doors.
Normally they would put him to sleep due to his extensive injuries but they wanted to give him a fighting chance - unfortunately his injuries also mean they can't inject him with painkillers or antibiotics so they have to give everything orally which costs more. They are asking for small donations, they take paypal.
I sent in a bit and hope that other Porchies will recognize that dogs in need are worldwide and not just in the US and will pitch in as well.
AAA also helped several other cases recently, such as Castaño, the dog left with a collar on way too tight, so tight it grew into his neck and had to be surgically removed (please note - graphic images) http://www.aaahelps.com/en/news.asp
There is a button on the side of the page for donations - please, if you can help, believe me when I say that it will be most appreciated!
