OK. folks, the owner wants to keep his dogs! He just had a liver transplant and can't be around animals for a month or two while recovering. These NICE dogs need a foster home for that period or are looking at being euthanized! So many of us go to great lengths to rescue dogs in sorry shape, with no home and hope they will find one: these dogs are healthy and loved and just need a relatively small effort to live on. It would be criminal to fail them....

These two sweet girls are headed to the shelter on Monday (7/19) if we can't find a foster for at least a month or two or come up with enough funds for boarding. Their dad is on his way home from receiving a liver transplant in AZ and he can't be around animals for a w...hile and the transplant has left them in dire straits. With nowhere to turn, Teri is being forced to take them to the shelter and we all know that is sure death. Both girls are fully housetrained, spayed and up-to-date on their shots. Can you imagine being so ill as to need a transplant and be in fear of looseing your pets too. I pray this has a happy ending.
