Saved a dog from being pts!!

Hey everyone I know this is asking alot being that I am new to the site. But I have rescued a dog feww weeks ago Ripple 110 lb(still gaining weight) bull mastive in bad shape And he is doing great!!! Well my daughter was on facebook and saw a dog who was going to be PTS today and put a hold on him with in min of death. She is really wanting to save this dog but with all the vet bills this mth And I only get paid once a mth..I dont have the pull fee to save him and I was hoping that maybe someone can help sponsor this guy to come into a loving and caring home!!! His name is larry and lil guy had to sit there as 28 of his friends left the kennel and never returned today!!! In return when I get paid again I will sponsor or donate the same price to another animal friendly cause. This is his link on facebook.

I'd love to help but I'm tapped out at the moment. I also read the thread which states that a sponsor fee or pull fee will not save this dog - he needs an APPROVED adopter or an APPROVED rescue hold. Have you contacted any rescues about him?

I'm also out of cash at the mo. Is he being pulled by a rescue? That will save him until you get the fee together.

I already had him pulled from PTS list and he is coming home to me!!! Just needed the money to get him!!! But lucky I have it covered. Thank you for wanting to help I know times are tight for everyone.. i am neck deep in vet bills but I just could watch this lil guy die. I been posting for diff shelters for yrs and never has any affected me but this one and the guy I adopted few weeks ago just broke my heart!!! I think maybe its old age and heart is growing softer!!! HA HA.. Sorry about even posting that here as I feel like a fool asking for money!!! I just didnt know what to do. Rescues are so packed now they couldnt even help the lil guy!! But I do honestly want to help more animals but I think my days of cross posting for shelters are done!!! I think I am going to stick to the money part of it!!! I been checking out the store on here!!! AWESOME... already started a wish list ha ha ha. Again I am so sorry for asking But thankfull for the caring hearts as well!!! I will be adding more pics I guess with him in them now to!!

I just feel compelled to caution you... since you're already struggling financially. There are so many dogs I'd love to save, but I know that finacially I just can't do it at this point in time. I'm at my limit for dogs and kitties.

It's very admirable that you want to save this dog... but are you going to be able to afford food, vet care, supply expenses, training expenses, etc. for both dogs? What happens if this new dog ends up with an expensive medical condition? If you had difficulty getting the pull fee for a shelter (typically fairly inexpensive) what about finding the money for all of the other expenses?

It may be in your best interest, and the dogs' best interest, for you to try and find a rescue group to take on the new dog before you get to attached.
