This is Katy - she is a Lab/Basset looking for a foster/temp/forever home in west Michigan.

She was adopted to a family two years ago who says she is now having seizures. They want to get rid of her ASAP and are threatening to PTS.

She is on crap food and maybe that is the cause - she has been on anti-seizure meds and the family refuses to pay for the blood work to test for other disorders. They are giving up and simply want to get rid of her.

SIGH!!!!

Why oh why do people think dogs are disposable.
So sad, I hope someone can come along and take care of her.

It breaks my heart because my first dog was a basset mix and I wish oh wish I had a house right now so I could foster her, do nutrition therapy on her and help her find a good home. Sofia's almost too much for my apartment though and all I can do is post, post, post!

Awwww isn't she the sweetest thing. I sure hope someone steps up and saves her. Wonder if her human family would like it if one of them got sick and the other members tossed them to the curb.
