| Male Bullmastiffs - Duluth MN CL
I found an ad for 2 bullmastiffs on my local CL: Beautiful Bullmastiff looking for perfect home (Barnum) Date: 2010-09-24, 12:50PM CDT Reply to: comm-8n3av-1971362519@craigslist.org [Errors when replying to ads?] Rock and Taz Birthdays 04-17-09 they been neutered not to long ago. I have all doctor papers since they been young and they are up to date with all shots and chipped as well. they been trained since they were puppies. Although not much training time lately They are registered with AKC kennel Club. They came from a breeder (BLB Bullmastiff link http://www.freewebs.com/blb-bullmastiff/) and I paid 3,000 for the both of them They have been socialized VERY well. Rock weights 126/Taz weights 142. they need a strong dominant leader who knows when to show affection (Cesars way). These dogs are meant for a home where they can be with someone 90% of the time. Also exercise twice a day and they will be your best friend. I mean it when I say they need there exercise they are use to jogs, roller balding, biking and long walks and with out it there energy can be hard to handle. Although they are still young and these dogs are known to clam down a lot in there third year. Which I'm sure you all know. Rock the fawn black mask 126 lbs dog Taz is the red 142bls dog. Rock and his bother where best friends and one day after being neutered rock decided that he no longer liked his brother. They couldn be around each other with out a fight. They have grown out of hatting each other but I can't say I would ever trust them allown together. I never witnessed Rock being aggressive with any other dogs although we had a temp home for him for a short while and that family said that him and there dog got into a fight. Rock is truly a tender heart but lately he's been over protective barking at people etc... Taz has been very well socialized with people and ever so often with kids, where he behaved very well. Taz has never been aggressive to any person. Rock shows some obsessions over is ball, food and toys only with other dogs never with people. He also seems to have a high pray drive with squirrels and other such animals. I recommend that Rock & Taz go to a home where he can get exercise the way he is use to and he can be with someone 90% of the time. I believe Rock would fit best if he is the only animal in the house hold and for Taz it doesn't matter. I'm truly heart broken being put into this situation. Rock and Taz are my babies and they are great dogs. I'm asking a $300. rehoming fee for both dogs please e-mail me for more info and include your number if you would like me to contact you please leave a time of day. Thanks for your time Mandie & Marty http://duluth.craigslist.org/pet/1971362519.html Since they provided the breeder's website, I went ahead and posted on the breeder's guestbook: Quote:

UGH!!! This isn't suprising to me sadly enough. His "PRIZE" breeding stock has come from IronMountain bullmastiffs. A borderline puppy mill in my mind that breeds the heck out of his girls and puts dogs out there with genetic defects. (My Chloe was a Iron Mountain dog...remember she died at 4 months old of JRD...a GENETIC defect). At least its a good sign that these two boys are now neutered I guess.... Sigh....another ding for our breed. Thanks Nikki for replying back to them...that made my day. I would too reply..but you'd all be collecting bail money for me later on today!
