I need some help finding a specifically Presa rescue, or a large dog rescue that can take one. No huge hurry.

4 year old male, about 140 lbs, current on all vax, heartworm meds, etc., will be neutered before being placed, good with dogs.

From what I understand, there aren't any.

Well, damn. Guess we're doing this the really hard way instead of the hard way.

The Presa club doesn't have any rescue contacts set up? I thought most clubs had something set up for rescues.

Check out that Hot Water rescue mentioned in the above dogster link. I went to their website and they listed Presa as a breed they take. Maybe they will have room or contacts.

I'm nothing if not determined! Titan will get a home...I haven't actually failed one that I've taken on yet.

Big Dogs Huge Paws might be worth a try. They are based in Colorado, but have fosters all over. We adopted our Presa from them.
