Cat litter smell

I have my kitties in my daughter's room the majority of the time (Jasmine is NOT cat safe). Their litter is scooped daily and changed twice a week. We have an air purifier in there as well as one of those automatic spray thingies that sprays air freshener every half hour. It STILL smells like cat litter. Not the poop or pee smell, just that musty smell of litter being in the room. We are using Arm & Hammer scoopable litter along with cat litter deodorizer. Any ideas on how to cut down on the presence of the box? Maybe a different litter or product to put into it? The box is hooded, and there are 2 cats using it.
